Jake Coombe is one of our newest Project Engineers, having joined Storage Construction in August of this year.

In his role, he is responsible for assisting Project Managers and Superintendents, and supporting project closeouts, the permitting process, creating punch lists, and tracking RFIs. He also helps Project Managers with the management and oversight of sub-contractors on site.

Before joining Storage Construction, Jake served as an Engineer Officer and paratrooper in the U.S. Army, where he reached the rank of captain. He served in multiple leadership positions on teams ranging in sizes from 25 to 65 people. In these positions, Jake was responsible for managing risk, overall safety, and coordinating between different military specialties.

In his free time, Jake enjoys spending time with his wife and son. He also enjoys anything outdoors, especially hiking, running, and camping, as well as cooking and reading. He is also an avid Philadelphia sports fan, and (mostly) likes to watch the Phillies and Eagles play.
